The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a public sidewalk embedded with star-shaped plaques bearing the names of famous Hollywood celebrities. The Walk is 15 blocks long and stretches on both Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street. There are currently more than 2,500 stars installed on the sidwalk, including stars for Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, Nicole Kidman, Elvis Presley, and James Dean.
