The Aquarium of the Pacific is one of the largest aquariums in the United States. Open to the public it is located on a 5-acre site at Rainbow Harbor where more than 500 species fill 19 major habitats and 32 focus exhibits. The Aquarium exhibits include a 3,200-square-foot outdoor aviary, diverse marine habitats as well as numerous tours and ocean science programs with interactive displays. There are special events such as the Ocean Exploration Events and the Pacific Islanders Tafesilafa'i Festival.
